LATIN AMERICAN ARTISTS IN GERMANY & UNIQUE POSITIONS FROM CANADA AND USA

wildpalms represents, produces and curates shows with mid career and young Latin American artists, as well with Canadian and USAmerican artists at the heart of Europe.

The main focus are social art practices, environmental questions, complexity and aesthetical experiences.

Conceived and created by Alexandra Meffert and Jorge Sanguino, wildpalms has introduced in Germany relevant positions of contemporary Latin American art such as Mauricio Limon, Karen P. Biswell, Felipe Castelblanco.

In addition to the gallery, they have an intense outreach program with writing, screenings, and podcasts that you can visit at art of the americas.

wildpalms GbR & wildpalms americana LLC were created by Alexandra Meffert and Jorge Sanguino. Alexandra kept running the project intercontinental as she was obtaining her Master Degree in Art Bussiness in Sothebys New York, and accomplishing a full range of yoga instructor certifications with Strala Yoga.

In Sept. 2018, wildpalms opened a 3200 Sq.feet space in Düsseldorf. The former egg and butter storage is a multifunctional 2 stories space, with special room for video and screenings, and Alexandra’s studio, light space movement.
