ABOUT ANDREAS STEINBRECHER:

Andreas Steinbrecher (born in Chelikemir, Kazakhstan, in 1984) is a visual artist who lives and works in Düsseldorf. After completing a bachelor's degree in communication design at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences (graduating with honors in 2013), he initially worked as a freelance graphic designer before transferring to the Düsseldorf Art Academy in 2017. There, he completed his studies in 2023 as a master student of Prof. Thomas Scheibitz.

Since 2023, we have been working with Andreas Steinbrecher at our wildpalms gallery, a collaboration that has already attracted the interest of renowned curators, such as those at the Kunstpalast Düsseldorf.

In March, we will be presenting his work in a solo exhibition at a booth at Art Rotterdam. His works have been shown in exhibitions at wildpalms (Düsseldorf), the Positions Berlin Art Fair, ARTE SANTANDER, Art Vilnius, and KIT – Kunst im Tunnel, as well as in Italy and Greece.

He is the recipient of the Best Group Art Promotion Award (2022) and the Germany Scholarship (2020–2021).
